Three weeks ago we received word that our grandfather had passed away. The funeral was held in Virginia with only a small group in attendance - close relatives, loved ones and, of course, the virus. The whole time, we were hyper aware of every cough and sneeze, fearful of wiping tears with bare hands, and reluctant to embrace those in mourning. Still, I guess it was better than saying goodbye over Zoom.
