Today, I saw a post about a father from my town who has been on a ventilator for two weeks and is finally showing signs of improvement. His family’s love has been replaced with the care of an ICU team of strangers for the better half of a month. And these strangers have worked overtime to save his life. While I am so fortunate that it is not my father in the ICU, I am also so inspired to know that if it were, a team of incredible people would go to extraordinary lengths to care for him too.
